Happy Father’s Day

“On the darkest days when I feel inadequate, unloved, and unworthy, I remember who’s daughter I am and I straighten my Crown.”

Today is Father’s Day and it’s another one I didn’t get to spend with my Dad. I sent him a text thanking him for all the bugs he’s killed, the times he’s scared away the monsters under my bed, the times where I might have killed the both of us during our driving lessons (but I didn’t!), and all the other things that only Dads can do for their families. I love you, Dad. I wish I was there but I know I’ll be able to spend another Father’s Day with you again.

Forever your baby girl.
